Falcons dominate in preseason play against Indianapolis

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Indianapolis Colts in preseason play Saturday in Indianapolis in decisive fashion. The final score was Atlanta 34, Indianapolis 6.

The teams started out the first quarter with field goals all around, one Atlanta field goals and two Indianapolis field goals.

Unfortunately for the Colts, it would be the only scoring they would do.

The Falcons scored a touchdown in the first quarter thanks to a 49-yard run by Tyler Goodson.

Atlanta would add to the lead with additional touchdowns by Nathan Carter, Cash Jones and Jack Strand, as well as another field goal.

The Falcons dominated in rushing yards, 461 versus 164 by the Colts.

They face the Miami Dolphins in preseason play next week at Hard Rock Stadium.
