Sophie Cunningham travelled to Dallas earlier this week along with the rest of the Indiana Fever team to take on the Dallas Wings.
The Fever lost the tie despite the best efforts of the in-form Kelsey Mitchell.
Mitchell broke a WNBA record on the night, while Cunningham has also become a talking point on social media following her interactions with fans before and after the meeting with the Wings.
Cunningham was called a ‘legend’ after she signed autographs for young girls before the game in Texas.
Now, a video of the WNBA star signing a poster post-game has also emerged on social media.
Sophie Cunningham filmed signing poster after the Indiana Fever’s loss to the Dallas WingsTexas Values posted the video on their X/Twitter account, with the fan in the video saying that Cunningham wrote: “Keep being you, we are behind you.”
She added: “So, we believe that she’s [Cunningham] behind all women athletes, especially those standing up for truth.”
Cunningham’s notoriety has increased a great deal on the back of her comments last month saying that young girls in sports ‘shouldn’t have to go against biological men’.
Sophie has gained 1.4m followers on Instagram in the last 30 days as a result of all the talk around her.
A number of rallies have also been held in support of the Fever ace, including one at the Dallas game this week.
But not everyone has been supportive of Cunningham in recent weeks, with some deciding to nickname her ‘MAGA Barbie’.
