FC Cincinnati rejected a bid from Hull City for forward Kévin Denkey, according to a report Aug. 12 from Tom Bogert.
Bogert added that Hull City's bid was about $15 million, with $5M in add-ons.
Denkey's FC Cincinnati contract runs through 2028.
Denkey's 11 goals this season are tied with Evander for the team lead. Denkey has played in 17 of FC Cincinnati's 18 games.
In November 2024, FC Cincinnati finalized the acquisition of Denkey from Belgium's Cercle Brugge for about $16.2 million. The transfer fee was the steepest paid for an incoming player in MLS history.
