Mitchell will have the rarest chance of edging out Wilson on Thursday’s game versus the Dallas Wings.

Mitchell owns a 38-point career best, which she reached twice. The shooting guard first recorded it in 2019 before reaching it again during a 2025 comeback win over Connecticut.

She has built a strong résumé in Indiana. The 2018 No. 2 overall pick has earned four All-Star selections and made the 2025 All-WNBA first team. She also won the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup with the Fever. The franchise will continue to rely on her heavily as it aims to win the title this year.

Through 35 games, Mitchell is averaging 24.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. She is shooting 50.3% from the field, 43.7% from three-point arc and 84.7% on free-throws. However, what the stat sheets don’t show is how clutch she has been for the Fever. The 30-year-old has consistently delivered timely baskets, especially when the team needs them the most.

Mitchell has also posted a 58.6% effective field-goal percentage and a 22.0 player efficiency rating. She has added 5.4 win shares to her season total.

The Ohio State product’s 2026 numbers have definitely upped her career averages. Her 43.7% three-point percentage stands out in particular.

Kelsey combines her shooting efficiency with the team’s versatile scoring, making Indiana a major threat from everywhere on the court.
