Cunningham recently caused another light-hearted moment, during the pregame shootaround. It was before the game against the Dallas Wings. When a team staff member was filming her from the bench, she initially pretended not to notice. She then lowered casually pulled down her sweatpants as a fun moment, before pulling them up, turning around and smiling while pointing directly at the camera. She was wearing her compression shorts underneath, so no serious harm was done.

A video clip of the moment has since gone viral on social media, with many fans commenting on the nature of it. She gained attention earlier in the season following an altercation with Phoenix Mercury player DeWanna Bonner back in June. She simply pointed her finger at her for 22 straight seconds, which became a viral meme afterwards.

Music icon Dolly Parton recently passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80. She was a beloved country music performer, nicknamed the “Queen of Country”. Following the news of her passing, many paid tribute to her.

Cunningham also decided to honor her memory in her own way. She posted an Instagram carousel where she posted a lot of her recent moments, which included the pulling down the pants incident. In the caption, she wrote one of the late singer’s quotes, “”My weaknesses have always been food and men—in that order.” Dolly Parton”
