The excitement is building as FIM North America has officially announced its roster for the upcoming 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games, scheduled to take place from December 10-13 at the renowned Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, Brazil. This prestigious event will see all six FIM Continental Unions (CONU) compete for international supremacy in motorsport.
The 2026 edition follows the successful inaugural event held in 2024, which showcased a diverse array of talent from around the globe. The FIM North America team, composed of representatives from the American Motorcyclist Association, the Canadian Motorcycle Association, and the Barbados Motoring Federation, is eager to once again take on competitors from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania.
Rob Dingman, President of FIM North America and CEO of the American Motorcyclist Association, expressed confidence in the selected riders. "The FIM Intercontinental Games offers an excellent opportunity to showcase the abilities of our North American riders on a global stage," Dingman stated. He emphasized that each racer chosen has demonstrated the necessary skill, determination, and pride to represent North America in this international competition.
This year’s event will feature circuit racing in the Supersport and Supersport 300 classes, with competitors racing on FIM-provided Yamaha YZF-R3 and YZF-R7 motorcycles. Additionally, motocross will make its debut at the FIM Intercontinental Games, introducing an MX2 format to the racing schedule, which is expected to add an exciting new dimension to the competition.
Each team will consist of four riders per category, ensuring that at least one female rider is included in every team. In total, FIM North America will be represented by 12 racers in Brazil, highlighting the commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the sport.
The roster for FIM North America includes a strong lineup for both circuit racing and motocross. In the Supersport category, the team will be led by Josh Herrin, alongside Max Toth, Blake Davis, and Mallory Dobbs. The Supersport 300 team features Hank Vossberg, Matthew Chapin, Kensei Matsudaira, and Ella Dreher. For motocross, Team Manager Steve Westfall will oversee a talented group including Zach Osborne, Ryder McNabb, Preston Kilroy, and Mayla Herrick.
