Fiorentina making progress for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee as initial offer made

Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee has constantly been linked with a return to the Serie A and a transfer to Fiorentina is now gathering pace.

La Viola are expected to lose Moise Kean soon. Como have been pushing for his signature, with the player having skipped the club’s training session yesterday as he looks to push for the deal.

This has led Fiorentina looking around for replacements.

Initial contact was made with Zirkzee’s entourage by Fabio Paratici and Tuttomercatoweb indicate a deal is coming closer.

La Viola have offered Manchester United an initial loan worth €5m and an option to buy. The clubs are negotiating the exact amount of the option to buy, with Fiorentina are also in talks with the player’s entourage.

Juventus have also been interested but their move is stuck. They’re yet to sell Jonathan David and the Canadian’s departure was going to unlock a move for the Manchester United man. This is giving Fiorentina the upper hand and they are pushing for an agreement.
