The Florida State Seminoles want more talent in their 2028 recruiting class to go with three-star athlete Chayse Brown and three-star tight end Troy Silberzahn. A prime target for them is four-star offensive lineman George Selvie III out of Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida.
The Seminoles put an offer on the table for Selvie in May of 2025, and he made his first appearance in Tallahassee back in April, which he raved about. As things currently sit, FSU is one of the schools that's recruiting Selvie the best, per Zach Blostein of 247Sports.
Miami, Florida State and Ohio State are the three schools doing the best job right now with Riverview (Fla.) Sumner offensive lineman George Selvie III.
Selvie is the No. 67 recruit in the country and the No. 4 interior offensive lineman per the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder also ranks as the No. 8 player from Florida.
Selvie had 10 offers before Florida State got involved in his recruitment. However, getting one from the Seminoles stood out big time to him.
"Florida State -- they gave me my first really big offer and have been recruiting me ever since." said Selvie back in May. "They've been doing a good job. I've been visiting the school. It's been a good school."
He doesn't have a visit to FSU scheduled during the season yet, but they could change at some point. Regardless, Selvie needs to continue to be a huge priority for the Seminoles.
