FNF: St. James defense has strong performance in scrimmage with Amite

VACHERIE, La. (WGNO) — Amite ended the live-quarter portion of the scrimmage with a 7-6 victory over St. James, but that touchdown was the Warriors' only score of the night.

St. James' defense had a strong performance in the scripted periods of Thursday's scrimmage with Amite, and the Wildcats will lean on that unit in 2026.

St. James starting quarterback Ju'Juan Jackson was unavailable against the Warriors, but the offense was still able to showcase its explosive abilities.

St. James will be back in action next Friday night for their jamboree against Hahnville. Amite will face Bogalusa in their jamboree.
