Each week, the Messenger-Inquirer will ask a high school football head coach or assistant coach to critique one of the upcoming games in the Owensboro area.
Tonight’s game: St. Xavier at Owensboro.
Anonymous coach says: This will be one of the great football games in the state of Kentucky on the first weekend of the season. If Owensboro jumps on St. X early at Rash Stadium, the Red Devils can pull off a huge upset. And, this is what I see happening — I’m going with the upset in this one. I think Owensboro’s overall team speed will be better than St. X’s, and Rash Stadium will be LOUD.
