At Ravens practice on Tuesday, Calais Campbell said he is grateful for the support of the Atlanta community and the NFL community.

“I just wanted to say, you know, these last couple months have been pretty tough for me and my family, but we’re working through it and I really appreciate all the love and support and the prayers,” he said.

While he did not field questions about his mother’s death, he did go on to say that playing football brings him joy after months of hardship.
