Paris Saint-Germain expect Bradley Barcola to leave before the transfer deadline but have remained firm in their valuation of the winger. The European champions want £145m for Barcola, a record-breaking fee Liverpool have so far been reluctant to match.

Barcola has given his green-light to aPremier League transfer as he seeks a more prominent role, having competed with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue for minutes in Paris. A compromise on valuation is expected to be found before the deadline.

Enzo Fernandez

Manchester City are preparing to launch a bid for Enzo Fernandez in the coming days, as the Cityzens seek a marquee midfielder to replace Rodri.

Chelsea had agreed to let Fernandez leave should a side meet their £120m asking price earlier in the window, but the deadline the Blues set has since passed.

City, however, remain eager to strike a deal to boost their depleted options. It would represent another club-record fee for City, whobroke their transfer record for Elliot Anderson earlier in the summer.

Cody Gakpo is at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war withTottenham Hotspur pushing to sign the Liverpool winger. Manchester City are also interested in Gakpo but are yet to make a direct approach.
