The Guardians will look for their franchise’s 10,001st win tonight against the Giants at Progressive Field.

Tugboat Wilkinson is getting the call to debut for the Giants this week. It feels pretty intentional to give him a chance to pitch against this former organization who particularly struggle against crafty lefties.

Zack Meisel had a reflection on the 10,000th win and the current state of the team for the Athletic.

Tommy John passed away. He was traded from the Indians to the White Sox in 1965 as part of a three-team deal to bring Rocky Colavito back to Cleveland and revive attendance and keep the team from moving to Seattle. Thank you, Tommy John.

Ryan Cesarini is getting some national attention for his recent breakout in Akron.
