ARGYLE, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - After trailing 42-14 to No.2 Liberty Christian, No. 5 Midland Christian outscored the Warriors 66-35 to win 66-63 last night.
Sophomore quarterback Jaxon Franco had an incredible outing, throwing for 648 yards and eight touchdowns. Junior Wide Receiver Peyton Ross also showed out, with 223 yards and two touchdowns on seven receptions. Former Odessa Broncho Kobi Baldonado had 109 yards plus two touchdowns on five receptions in his Mustang debut.
MCS returns home next week to host Wayne Hills from New Jersey.
