Hull City have submitted a €22m offer for Union Berlin’s Ilyas Ansah, according to Sky Germany.

The newly promoted English Premier League side wants to sign the 21-year-old striker on a long-term contract, according to the report. Ansah is said to be interested in joining Hull City, with advanced negotiations between the two clubs now taking place. Ansah joined Union Berlin a year ago from Paderborn for €4m. He made a total of 33 league appearances during the 2025/26 season, scoring five goals and providing one assist. He has made 12 appearances for the German U20 side, netting five goals, and has six outings for the German U21 team, where he managed to get on the score sheet once.Sky reports that negotiations between the sides have been ongoing for several days, with the latest offer now on Union’s table. Previous offers from Hull City have been rejected. With the player keen on the move, Hull City – who opened their season with a scintillating 2-0 win against Manchester United – hope that the German club will accept the latest offer.GGFN | Brook Genene
