In first Preseason ‘Reacts’ poll, Chiefs fans want to see Peter Woods

All eyes on Peter Woods

Polled Chiefs fans were given three rookies to choose from, picking which they’re most excited to see in live action, potentially as early as Saturday in the preseason opener.

The majority of voters picked second-round pick defensive tackle Peter Woods, who has flashed in camp with penetration and raw strength. After Thursday’s training camp practice, defensive tackle Chris Jones fed the anticipation with a strong quote about the first-year player from Clemson.

“A young bull,” Jones described Woods. “For him, just putting it all together. He has the skill set, and he has the power for it also. He is strong as an ox.”

No. 99 in red and gold will be one of the most-watched players on the field this weekend.
