Fans have been reacting to a WNBA MVP front-runners list ahead of the award being handed out later this year.
To date, A’ja Wilson holds the record for the most-ever MVP wins, securing the prize on four occasions.
She is probably in with a good chance of winning the award yet again in 2026 as well, given she is averaging the most points in the league.
Others, such as Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark, could also have a chance of being named this year’s MVP.
But a number of fans have now questioned why Paige Bueckers has been included in a front-runners list.

One fan wrote: “Insane PR for Paige.”
Another claimed: “I don’t understand why Olivia Miles and Paige Bueckers are on this list.”
“No to Paige. This is a 4 way race,” suggested a third.
A fourth commented: “Paige has been great this season but she isn’t an MVP candidate.”
Another stated: “Paige being on here just crazy to me,” while a sixth added: “Paige shouldn’t be here lol.”
A seventh asked, when referring to Paige: “Why that person in the middle on here?” with another also writing: “Why is Paige listed? I love Paige, but she’s nowhere near MVP.”
