“Speed, when are you coming back to WWE? Bro, I’m coming back to WWE soon! Don’t worry, bro! WWE is coming. WWE Speed is coming back very soon.”
While some fans may have grown tired of WWE’s recent overreliance on celebrities, iShowSpeed’s involvement has usually garnered positive reactions.
Speed first appeared on WWE programming in April 2024, when he took part in the WWE Draft. However, his first physical involvement came nearly a year later.
At the 2025 Royal Rumble, WWE executed one of its best celebrity angles in history, as an unassuming iShowSpeed was forced by Triple H to enter the Royal Rumble to replace an injured Akira Tozawa.
On WWE’s Netflix docuseries ‘Unreal,’ it was revealed that this was a planned event, with Speed being used to generate a surprise entrant in the match.
Speed would help Bron Breakker eliminate Otis before eating one of the most devastating and viral spears in history.
The clip of Speed and Breakker’s interaction generated huge numbers, which led to WWE wanting to work with the viral streamer even more.
For an episode of his recent series, Speed even trained with WWE star Randy Orton at the Performance Center and learned how to take bumps.
Speed also helped get Danhausen’s curse gimmick over through his livestreams, showing his commitment to the business.
And of course, in one of the most viral moments of the year, Speed’s livestream was hijacked by LA Knight in the lead-up to WrestleMania, who then shoved Speed into his set-up.
iShowSpeed’s insane athleticism, combined with his charisma and understanding of entertainment, makes him a perfect fit for WWE.
