The Jaguars acquired QB Quinn Ewers from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft, pending a physical, the team said today.
Ewers, 23, was originally drafted by Miami in the seventh round (231st overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He played in four games last season, making three starts.
He completed 55-of-83 passes (66.3%) for 622 yards and three touchdowns.
Ewers, who played collegiately at Texas (2022-24) and Ohio State (2021), joins a Jaguars quarterback room that includes starter Trevor Lawrence and backups Nick Mullens, Carter Bradley and Joey Aguilar.
