Jacksonville (1-0) will play its second NFL preseason game on Friday. The Jaguars will host Carolina (1-1) at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
Kickoff between the Jaguars and Panthers is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
Jacksonville defeated New Orleans (0-1), 24-20, during Week 1 of the NFL preseason at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Former Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar appeared in the NFL preseason Week 1 contest for the Jaguars. He completed his only passing attempt for 43 yards to Penn State rookie wide receiver Trebor Pena. Aguilar had a 118.8 quarterback rating.
According to Jacksonville's depth chart on Jaguars.com, Aguilar is listed as their fourth quarterback ahead of the Carolina game on Friday.
Trevor Lawrence is listed as the Jaguars' starting quarterback, while Nick Mullens is second and Carter Bradley is third.
Aguilar played at Tennessee in 2025. He completed 272-of-404 passing attempts for 3,565 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 13 games during his only season with the Vols.
Aguilar finished behind two SEC quarterbacks for passing yards during the 2025 season: Trinidad Chambliss of Ole Miss (3,937 yards, 15 games) and Ty Simpson of Alabama (3,567 yards, 15 games).
