Last year’s Super 25 champion Buford (GA) kicked off its season on Saturday, Aug. 22, with a massive 39-19 home win over Gainesville.
In that win, the Wolves’ defense forced five turnovers. Just a few hours after the game ended, that defense got even better.
Five-star Texas Tech defensive line commit Jalen Brewster has transferred to Buford from Cedar Hill (TX) for his senior season, the elite defender announced on Saturday night.
