Seattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba is one of the hottest names in the fantasy football sphere this year.
Smith-Njigba led the league in receiving last season with 1,793 yards and was a player that fantasy football team managers had the luxury of leaning on as the driving force of their teams. Next season forecasts to produce more of the same from JSN, making him a great player to target in the first round of drafts this year.
ESPN’s Matt Bowen named Smith-Njigba as being one of his favorite fantasy football draft targets this year.
“The best receiver I saw on tape last season, Smith-Njigba scored 21.2 fantasy PPG in 2025 (second most among WRs) and led the league with 1,793 receiving yards,” Bowen said. “A true multilevel target, JSN can uncover at the short-to-intermediate areas of the field, plus he has third-level juice. Last season, Smith-Njigba's 18 receptions and 6.9 fantasy PPG on throws of 20 or more air yards led the league. Smith-Njigba is likely to contend for the league lead in receiving yards again in 2026 and score many touchdowns, making him arguably the best wider receiver to target in the league.
