With the game's release less than one month away, NBA 2K is nearing the end of their top-100 players list. Earlier this week, 2K27 released players No. 11 through 20 as they count down to the No. 1 spot in the game. Despite missing a large chunk of the year due to an Achilles injury, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics found himself in that list.
Tatum comes in at the No. 12 spot, making him the highest-ranked Duke alumnus in the game. Paolo Banchero and Jalen Johnson are next closest in the No. 27 and No. 28 spots, respectively.
Tatum is ranked just ahead of his former teammate Jaylen Brown and is also ranked above LeBron James, one of the game's all-time greats. Tatum's official rating is 93, tying him with the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Donovan Mitchell and Karl-Anthony Towns. With a full offseason under his belt and Brown out of the picture, Duke supporters are eager to see what Tatum can do in a much larger role during the 2026-27 NBA season.
