LAWRENCE (KSNT) - Kansas volleyball head coach Matt Ulmer joins this week’s edition of K-Nation.
The squad is entering its second season under Ulmer after a 24-11 record last season and a Sweet Sixteen appearance. The Jayhawks are ranked No. 15 in the AVCA preseason poll and were picked third in the Big 12 Preseason poll.
Ulmer spoke with 27 Sports anchor Sydney Clark following the 'Hawks exhibition win over No. 13 Creighton. He talks the team's performance in their exhibition matchup against the Blue Jays, the young talent on this year's squad, and the excitement around his squad.
The Jayhawks open the season on Aug. 28 against No. 4 Pittsburgh in the Opening Spikes Classic.
