Kenneth Walker III warns Seahawks revenge through subtle social media activity

Kenneth Walker III reunited with his former team on Friday night as the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead.

The final preseason game of the summer for both sides saw the newly-acquired running back watch from the sidelines.

Walker joined the Chiefs after failing to agree to terms on a new contract in Seattle after winning the Super Bowl in February.

The game at Arrowhead was not one anyone will be keen to remember after ending in a 9-9 tie, but the Chiefs will make their way to the Pacific Northwest later this year.

Having not been rewarded with the pay day he desired in Seattle, Walker has already made it apparent that he will be looking to remind the Seahawks just who they allowed to walk out of the building.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider has got an awful lot right over the years in Seattle, which has seen him lead two entirely different Super Bowl-winning rosters.

There has certainly been some risk taken in passing on the Super Bowl MVP, though, with Seattle drafting first-round pick Jadarian Price as Walker’s replacement.

Speaking on CBS, Pete Prisco said: “Midway through the season, I think Seattle will be saying: ‘Kenneth who?’ Because I think Price is going to be really good.”

With the outlet posting the clip on Instagram, Walker simply liked the post to make it known that he had acknowledged the comments.

Having been named the Super Bowl MVP, there may well be some hard feelings on Walker’s side that Seattle were not willing to match what the Chiefs were offering him.

That certainly seems to be the case, with Walker not attending the Super Bowl ring ceremony in Seattle despite other departed players, like Coby Bryant, returning.

Walker has had a real edge in Chiefs camp, with the running back often seen hitting out in anger at his own teammates.

This is not a version of Walker that those in Seattle will recognise.

The Seahawks had the third best run defence last season, and they’ll need to be at the top of their game again in Week Six to keep Walker quiet.
