Kentucky basketball has announced a nonconference matchup with Wichita State. The two teams will face off at Rupp Arena on Nov. 27.

The Wildcats open their season Nov. 3 at home against Manhattan before making their way through a loaded schedule ahead of conference play.

A week following the opener, on Nov. 10, Kentucky will see Kansas at the United Center in Chicago as part of the State Farm Classic. UK will then play Indiana just 10 days later, Nov. 20, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Wildcats will begin December by playing at Virginia on Dec. 3 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. They'll then host Louisville the following week, Dec. 12, before headed to New York City, where they'll go up against North Carolina at Madison Square Garden as part of the CBS Sports Classic.

Kentucky will begin SEC play on the road at Oklahoma on Jan. 2.
