Good morning BBN!
It is another big day in the recruitment of Mark Mitchell, as the potential transfer forward will be looking to get some more clarity as to whether his injunction to enter the transfer portal will be granted by Judge Brian Edwards in Louisville.
Following the initial hearing on August 14, Judge Edwards instructed Mitchell’s side and the NCAA to submit their written arguments by the end of today. Since the hearing last Friday, the BBN has been waiting for any potential movement, and it seems like today could be the day we finally get more clarity.
But if nothing else, Judge Edwards said he planned to have a decision reached by the end of this week at the latest.
Unfortunately, it appears some states and the NCAA appeals are starting to get some push back, as one lawsuit filed in Ohio has now been seen a win for the NCAA as the judge granted a stay for the suit which stops it from taking effect until the appeal is heard.
We have a ruling on the NCAA's motion for a stay — not that one though.

What does this mean for Mark Mitchell? Nothing at the moment, but it does seem to point to this being far from over.
How will the KY judge rule? We won’t have to wait much longer to find out…
