The Atlanta Falcons are about 50 hours away from making their preseason debut against the Denver Broncos on Friday night. Head coach Kevin Stefanski met with the media this afternoon to discuss the Friday's opener, his plan for playing starters and the team's recent injuries.
Rookie cornerback Avieon Terrell is dealing with an unknown injury after exiting practice on Monday. The second-round pick out of Clemson missed practice on Tuesday and Wednesday as well, but Stefanski did not sound concerned.
The Falcons coach said Terrell, edge Bralen Trice and defensive lineman Da'Shawn hand were "all working through various levels of their rehab but all are getting better."
Stefanski said he didn't think any of the injuries were long-term issues. On the bright side, offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor was back out there following a rest day on Tuesday.

The Falcons named quarterback Tua Tagovailoa the starting quarterback for their preseason opener, however, Stefanski made a point to say that it was just for Friday's game and the Week 1 starter has yet to be named.
Atlanta plans to play its starters for about 10 plays, so fans attending Friday's game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium better be sure to arrive for the first quarter if they want to see the first-team offense and defense. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET, and it will air locally on FOX 5 in Atlanta.
