Linebacker Chris Morillo, a three-star prospect in the 2028 class, is a key target for Florida State. He was extended a scholarship offer on May 15, which came a month after an unofficial visit to Tallahassee. Then, he attended a camp a few weeks later, and he mentioned that he had a "great time" during the trip.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is gearing up for his junior campaign, and he's locked in a plethora of game visits, per Zach Blostein of 247Sports. Two of his trips will involve watching FSU play, with the first coming on Oct. 17 when they hit the road to take on the Miami Hurricanes. Also, Morillo will be back in Tallahassee when Florida State wraps up its regular season against the Florida Gators.

This will give the Seminoles a great opportunity to dazzle Morillo against their two biggest rivals. Some of the other big games he'll be at are when the Ole Miss Rebels host the LSU Tigers on Sept. 19, Oct. 10 when the USC Trojans play the Penn State Nittany Lions in Happy Valley, and Nov. 7 when Miami travels to play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

As a sophomore at Hudson High School, Morillo contributed in several areas. He produced 64 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, nine quarterback hurries, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries (ran one back for a touchdown) as a linebacker, plus he gained 249 yards on 15 receptions. Lastly, Morillo tallied 15.2 yards per punt return with one score, and he averaged 22.3 yards per kick return as well.

Morillo is the No. 386 recruit and the No. 26 linebacker in 247Sports composite rankings. He's also listed as the No. 51 prospect in Florida.
