Klay Thompson is now a Miami Heat player, which is a big positive for the team. They desperately needed a boost with their perimeter shooting beyond Tim Hardaway Jr. Now, Thompson not only provides that shooting, but he also improves their championship pedigree with his four rings.

Of course, most people know about him for his success with the Golden State Warriors. He formed a deadly partnership with Stephen Curry there, but that ended when Klay joined up with Kyrie Irving on the Dallas Mavericks. Unfortunately, that did not end up working properly. Instead of returning to the Warriors, it seems Thompson likes it better if he plays for the Heat.

Since he will always be connected to the Warriors, many thought that he could return to the Bay Area and go on one final run with Steph and Draymond Green. Unfortunately for the Warriors, that is not the case because Thompson wants to win a championship, and he feels the Heat are the best chance he could get.

Considering he will be playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, it is a good decision because they will always have an opportunity to shine with that kind of lineup.
