You know high school football is around the corner when teams are suiting up for scrimmages and jamborees.
After months of practice and 7-on-7 camps, it’s time for teams across the 337 area to get a taste of what’s to come in the upcoming 2026 season. From the 74th Annual Kiwanis Jamboree, to cross-town state powerhouse matchups, the week leading up to the 2026 season will be one prep football fans won’t want to miss.
The Daily Advertiser has got you covered with a roundup of the high school football scrimmages and jamborees happening across the Lafayette Parish and its surrounding area. All games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. unless noted within the list.
