With the reveal of the 2026-27 schedule, now is the time to begin circling matchups in anticipation of certain matchups. The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that many will circle on their calendars due to the talent they possess and the expectations surrounding the franchise at the moment.
With that being said, there is a certain LeBron James rival who is looking forward to seeing him on James' 42nd birthday.
James and the Sixers will take on Dillon Brooks and the Phoenix Suns when James turns 42 on Dec. 30 and Brooks is looking forward to having an opportunity to spoil his birthday:
That's LeBron's birthday, too? He did tell me that in a playoff series. I'm excited. That's more ammunition for me to win that game, but it should be fun.

James and Brooks have gone back and forth on the floor in recent years and the two of them have shared their fair share of jabs. With James' move back to the Eastern Conference, the two will only see each other twice i the upcoming season, but one has to believe that both matchups will be some must-see TV when considering the antics Brooks likes to use to try and get in his opponent's head.
