Charles Leclerc is also recharging ahead of the second half of the Formula 1 season. The Monegasque driver shared new photos from his holiday with his wife, Alexandra, and their dachshund, Leo.

The Formula 1 season continues next week with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, but until then, Formula 1 drivers are enjoying the final moments of their break.

Leclerc also shared the best photos from his vacation with his wife, Alexandra, and their fan-favorite dog in the paddock, Leo, on social media.

Similarly to Max Verstappen, Toto Wolff, and Kimi Antonelli before him, Leclerc switched off in Sardinia, Italy, and spent time with his family and friends.

Leclerc calls on Ferrari to maintain clear direction with 'aggressive' updates after the break

Throughout the 2026 Formula 1 season, Ferrari has continuously introduced updates to the SF-26. So far, the Italian team has won two races, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Silverstone, while Lewis Hamilton currently sits second in the drivers' standings, 50 points behind Kimi Antonelli and nine ahead of George Russell.

After the race at the Hungaroring, Leclerc said he wants Ferrari to maintain an aggressive approach in terms of developing its car.

Speaking to GPblog, among others, he explained after the Hungarian Grand Prix: "That’s the [current] championship again. Upgrades are so much more significant than in the past because it makes us do such a big step forward."

The Monegasque driver continued: "We've seen it with McLaren this weekend [in Hungary], so it's going to be important that we stay on top of it and that we keep being aggressive, as aggressive as we've been with the development programme. We'll see how it goes."

Leclerc is currently sitting fourth in the drivers' standings at the halfway point of the season, 81 points behind championship leader Antonelli, and 31 points behind his teammate, Hamilton.
