Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has admitted the club still need to strengthen in several “obvious positions” before the transfer window closes.
Farke made the comments after Leeds’ pre-season friendly draw against Manchester United, where he felt the make-up of his side highlighted areas in which he currently lacks specialist options.
“Yes, there are some obvious positions where I think we need to do a bit more,” Farke said.
“You could see today with the line-up a few positions, I was also struggling to cover with specialists.
“But this is also no secret. I won’t speak too much about the positions in public because this will just raise the prices anyhow.”
Leeds have already made a number of additions during the summer, but Farke believes further business is required to give his squad sufficient depth.
“I’m hopeful that we’ll also do a bit more till the transfer windows,” he added.
