Howie Roseman of the Philadelphia Eagles has continuously proven over the past few years that he's willing to take a chance at any given moment if he believes a player can help his team.
That can even include a backup, despite the Eagles seemingly being set at the quarterback position behind Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles currently have four quarterbacks on the roster, including Hurts, Andy Dalton, Tanner McKee, and Cole Payton.
While it's unlikely that they'd want another quarterback, the Eagles could certainly look to move on from a couple of them. One player in particular who makes sense to move on from is McKee, depending on what his value would be around the league.
One proposal recently would send him to the Detroit Lions after Teddy Bridgewater announced his retirement.

"The Eagles clearly prefer Tanner McKee to Andy Dalton, but there's reason to believe Philadelphia would trade the former for the right price. Jalen Hurts remains firmly entrenched as QB1 in Philly, despite all the noise around his performance last season. McKee has basically played zero meaningful snaps for the Eagles. He puts on a show every preseason and can pick up a win or two late in the year with a playoff spot already locked down. But he's frightfully inexperienced for a 26-year-old who's so highly regarded in league circles," Christopher Kline wrote.
The idea of moving on from McKee for a fourth-round pick doesn't seem terrible, but it's also not the greatest value in the world for an Eagles team that could use a backup quarterback at any given moment if Hurts were to get injured.
That's ultimately something Roseman would have to consider in any of these types of trades, as a backup quarterback might be one of the most important positions in the NFL.
