Welcome to Week 2 of the high school football season.
It's a little bit of a light schedule this Friday night with just six total games thanks to some head-to-head matchups and four games having been played on Thursday. But we hope you'll join us as we track those games with our live scoring.
The Friday slate features three attractive head-to-head games between desert teams: Desert Hot Springs at Xavier Prep, Yucca Valley at La Quinta and Coachella Valley at Rancho Mirage.
Speaking of those four desert teams that played Thursday, all four came away with the win, so let's hope that good fortune continues for our desert teams on Friday. Also of note, Desert Christian Academy plays at Arrowhead Christian on Saturday this week.
