The first of two joint practices between the Indianapolis Colts and the Atlanta Falcons is underway on Wednesday, and we will be providing updates of all that takes place.
Joint practices have become very common around the NFL and are quite valuable, giving starters and key players game-like reps but in a more controlled environment. These practices play a key role in the evaluation process.
We will update this post as the practice unfolds.
WR vs. CB one-on-onesIn 1-on-1s:
Colts WRs: 19
Falcons CBs: 7
Those drills are skewed toward the offense, but good to see it at least look that way.
This first team period with the Falcons starting D vs Colts starting offense has already had a couple of breakdowns up front. Atlanta blows up a Jonathan Taylor run on the first snap and then Daniel Jones is sacked quickly a few plays later after a missed block.
