Longest MLB home runs ever: See the top 10 of baseball's Statcast era

Everybody digs the long ball, right? Well, the only thing sweeter is an even longer one.

Witnessing a no-doubter, one where the batter knows it's gone off the bat, the announcer can't believe their eyes, and the pitcher doesn't even bother to turn around, is a feeling unlike any other.

While the longest home run in MLB history was an estimated 575-foot shot from Babe Ruth against the Detroit Tigers at Navin Field on July 18, 1921, the authenticity of the blast cannot be certain.

Nowadays, we have Statcast, a tool designed to help with this very problem. Since it was fully implemented at MLB ballparks at the start of the 2015 season, Statcast has witnessed some monster home runs.
