Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles, who recently joined the program after three seasons at Pittsburgh, has been named to this season’s preseason watch list for the Butkus Award. The honor is given to each season’s top linebacker. It’s the second season in which Biles has landed among the award’s preseason watch list honorees.
Former Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. was most recently a finalist for the Butkus Award.
