Texas football standouts Rasheem Biles and Colin Simmons have wracked up preseason accolades throughout the preseason, and most recently, that includes both players being named to the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, the award’s committee announced this week. It’s the second consecutive season that Biles, a senior who joined Texas after transferring out of Pittsburgh’s program earlier this offseason, and Simmons, a junior, that made the cut for the award’s preseason watch list honor.

The award is given to each season’s top defensive player in college football.
