The Miami Dolphins were back on the practice field at their Baptist Health Training Complex again on Tuesday, as they prepare for their preseason finale with old friend Tua Tagovailoa and the Atlanta Falcons.
According to the local beat reporters on the scene, Miami's offense struggled mightilty throughout the session, and things got so bad that new quarterback Malik Willis had to call his teammates together to huddle up and talk in the middle of the day.
Willis has learned to be a leader over the last few months, with this being his first opportunity to begin an NFL season as a team's starting quarterback, and this is just another example of the effort that he's putting into the role.
Miami may not find success on the scoreboard this season, but it's evident that they have a quarterback who is serious about getting the most and best effort out of his teammates. Whether that's enough to stick around as their starter remains to be seen.
