Manchester United are monitoring Ismaila Sarr’s situation at Crystal Palace in the closing stages of the transfer window.
Sarr has been subject of interest from Turkish Süper Lig champions Galatasaray, who had hoped to secure the Senegalese winger for around £30m.
Sarr has given his approval to Galatasaray and the opportunity to play Champions League football, though a big gap remains between the two sides’ valuations.
Palace’s asking price is significantly higher with the Eagles wanting around £50m for the 28-year-old.
According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are keeping an eye on the situation and could move if Sarr pushes for an exit.
The Red Devils view Sarr as a versatile option to add depth to their frontline, and readymade for Premier League football. Sarr scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for the South Londoners last season and was named Conference League Player of the Season as Palace won the trophy.
Sarr was not included in the Palace squad for their Premier League opener at Everton with the club explaining his absence as an injury issue.
