With significant funds from recent sales, Man City could accelerate their pursuit of Ndiaye and may look to leverage Everton’s interest in Jack Grealish as part of negotiations.
The England international spent last season on loan at Everton and the Toffees remain keen to sign him permanently.
However, Everton will face competition from Aston Villa and Sunderland for his signature.
Meanwhile, City continue to pursue Enzo Fernandez and are expected to submit a bid for the Chelsea midfielder imminently.
