Free agent defensive end Marcus Davenport has spent the last three seasons with NFC North teams and he met with another club in the division as he looks for a spot to play in 2026.

The NFL's daily transaction report for Sunday shows that Davenport visited the Bears. The team did not report any other visits.

Davenport spent the last two seasons with the Lions, but a torn triceps in 2024 and a chest injury last year limited him to 10 games. He also missed most of the 2023 season for the Vikings due to an ankle injury.

Davenport began his career as a 2018 first-round pick in New Orleans. He has 165 tackles, 25 sacks, seven forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 63 career games.
