Former Duke Blue Devil Mark Mitchell was granted a fifth year Friday by a Jefferson County, Kentucky judge.
Mitchell hasn’t announced what school he will choose yet, but he did put a Do Not Contact tag on his portal entry. That could mean he’s already decided, or that he wants all contact to go through his agent or family.
According to Sea of Blue, he’s likely down to Kentucky and Missouri, and Mizzou has a full roster.
That doesn’t mean they can’t make a change. We’re essentially in free agency now, and if it’s going to be professional ball, you can’t get mad when things don’t go your way. Team chemistry is another issue, however.
School starts on Monday, so whatever Mitchell decides will happen quickly.
