Today, the Houston Dash announced that midfielder Danny Colaprico has agreed to a new contract through the 2027 season with a mutual option for 2028.
“I’m excited to continue with the Houston Dash and build on the foundation we’ve established with Angela and Fabrice,” Colaprico said. “Having spent almost two full seasons with the club, I’ve seen the commitment across the group and the work that goes into creating this new identity for the organization. I truly believe we can accomplish something special in Houston, and I look forward to sharing my experience and doing my part to help this team succeed.”
With her contract expiring at the conclusion of the 2026 season, the club made sure to bring back the veteran alongside their bright young core. She has appeared in 47 matches (45 starts) since joining the club ahead of the 2025 season.
“Danny has embraced what we are building in Houston and brings a level of experience and perspective that is extremely valuable to our group,” said Angela Hucles Mangano, President of Women’s Soccer. “She understands what it takes to compete in this league and is willing to share that knowledge with the players around her. Her ability to read the game, manage moments and set a standard in our daily environment makes her an important part of what we are building in Houston. We’re pleased to have Danny continue with the Dash and look forward to her influence on this team in the seasons ahead.”
She became only the fourth player to reach 200 regular season starts on May 9, 2026 vs Denver Summit.
