Plenty of exciting plays took place in the New England Patriots' preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday. In fact, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel joined the action on the sidelines by embodying his inner quarterback and launching a red challenge flag into another dimension.
The challenge was prompted after a fumble by Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, who was initially ruled down. However, another look at the play showed that the ball was knocked free by Patriots linebacker K.J. Britt before Richardson was on the ground.
Vrabel has been known for his receiving skills, along with being a former elite defender. On this play, he proved to be a real triple-crown athlete who can throw, catch and defend.

The players truly feel like he's in the trenches with them every time they step onto the field. That's the same kind of energy that propelled the 14-3 turnaround and improbable Super Bowl run last season.
