Serie A side Milan have been working towards making an attacking signing and have now made major progress towards signing Strasbourg’s Diego Moreira.
Get Italian Football News have previously covered how Roma were keen on the Belgian’s signature and Chelsea had communicated a decision to back out.
La Gazzetta dello Sportreport – first called by Kush on X, that now Milan have agreed terms with Strasbourg for the winger’s signing. The Rossoneri are now aiming to close a deal in the next three or four days and want to finalise everything without too many surprises.
The deal is advanced though, with the San Siro club paying a fee worth €45 million for the arrival.
Ruben Amorim is key behind the transfer. He has held a meeting with owner Gerry Cardinale about possible incomings and he has clarified in the past that he requires players with a reliable 1v1 ability and Moreira is certaintly that.
Moreira is also seen as the symbol of a new era, with Milan confident that the Belgian will be worth much more than €45 million in the next few years.
