New England Patriots defensive tackle Milton Williams had a huge grin on his face while flipping off the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of Wednesday's joint training camp practice.
And it was clearly all in fun.
Williams was drafted by the Eagles in 2021 and won a Super Bowl with the team in the 2024 season. So much of the talk has been about Patriots star wide receiver A.J. Brown facing off against his former team. However, Williams embodied the same competitive spirit when seeing familiar faces at practice. There is always added motivation when going against former teammates.
Williams simply took things a step further by engaging in a little friendly banter before practice started.

After Wednesday's practice, the Patriots are set to host the Eagles for one final joint practice on Thursday, followed by the Week 2 preseason game on Saturday.
It will be a tough test for Williams and company against a talented Eagles offensive line blocking for Super Bowl LIX MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts and former Offensive Player of the Year running back Saquon Barkley.
