AS Monaco beat Górnik Zabrze (4-1 [agg. 7-3]) on Thursday to secure their place in the UEFA Conference League ‘League Phase’ on Thursday. The Principality club learnt their opponents during Friday afternoon’s draw in Monaco.
Les Monégasques will host Bundesliga side Freiburg. The German outfit were beaten by Aston Villa in the UEFA Europa League final last season. The Principality club will also face a difficult trip to face Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion. There is another visit to the UK and to Hearts. Filipe Luís’ side will also host Gibraltarian side Lincoln Red Imps at the Stade Louis II. The dates and order of the fixtures will be announced in due course.
